Trebor serves high purity fluid transfer and heating applications primarily in the semiconductor industry. We manufacture non-corrosive AODD pumps for chemical delivery applications and heater systems utilizing thin film technology on quartz tubes.


The General Manager is responsible for leading this $56M business and will provide strategic, commercial, operational, and technical leadership to grow the business. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT; Trebor has approximately 65 employees.

Reporting Relationships:


The Trebor General Manager will report directly to the Intelligent Water Platform President. This role’s direct reports will include leaders of HR, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The Finance leader will report functionally to the Platform Finance leader with dotted line reporting to the General Manager.


Responsibilities:
The General Manager will provide strategic, commercial, and technical leadership to the Trebor business. This will require the leader to determine the long-term strategy to continue strategic growth. This role will drive the achievement of sustainable revenue growth while maintaining profit margins and building a culture of continuous improvement with teams capable of collaborating cross-functionally and making decisions together. The General Manager will focus on customer obsession, building great global teams, diversity, equity, and inclusion all while living our Core Values of Trust, Team, and Excellence.

  • Full Profit/Loss responsibility for a $56M business
  • Develop a business strategy that facilitates strategic innovation in the core growth market
  • Increase revenue to achieve the Intelligent Water platform growth goal
  • Create and sustain a high-performance culture that works together to make decisions, integrate new ideas, and deliver experiences and products that delight our customers.
  • Focus on increasing the development of new products that further the company’s ability to win and enhance the platform’s ability to respond to customer needs rapidly.
  • Build strong 80 customer and partnership relationships to ensure we maintain market share or sole source position with competitive threats.
  • Lead key IDEX operating model tools such as Goal Deployment and Daily Management to support execution of strategic and tactical objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering / Technical field preferred); MBA preferred.
  • Successful track record of General Management and/or Leadership experience in Semiconductor industry preferred
  • Experience with Export Controlled Products (Trade Compliance)
  • Global business experience, specifically in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and China preferred
  • Experience with implementing LEAN and/or Six Sigma tools; LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus
  • Track record as an agent of change, who has established customer-centric and engineering-minded technical teams that are leading their customers, and the market, through collaborative partnerships
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and leadership skills with the ability to evaluate organizations and their talent as well as align them with customer and organizational goals.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally as required, to successfully execute the above-listed responsibilities.
