The General Manager - Siteworks, reports to the Vice President and General Manager of the Flow Systems Division. The General Manager will oversee the development and implementation of the product line's overall business objectives, policies, and strategic plans. This role is a leader in the organization and ensures success of the business by effectively leading P&L management, commercial growth, product innovation, and human capital. Working in a matrix organization, the position directly leads an infrastructure team of Sales, Product Mgmt., Engineering, Customer Care and indirectly leads resources in Operations and Tactical Purchasing. Successful leadership of all functions and driving forward strategic commercial and product growth are critical to the success of the product line and role.
The Siteworks product line focuses on providing high-quality, durable drainage and separation solutions. These products are highly specified and designed to exceed industry standards.
Key Accountabilities

Formulates the assigned Business Unit’s strategy, including establishing strategic objectives, priorities, product offering strategies, and go-to-market programs.

Defines success metrics, executes against the business objectives, and ensures that the Business Unit’s strategy is aligned with the Company’s overall strategy.

Markets the value of business relationships to external partners and internal customers, articulating the benefits of building long-term, win-win strategies and investment into the relationships.

Provide the vision and leadership to everyone in the organization to foster an engaging environment, assuring the continued implementation of strategies to achieve long-term operating improvement.

Achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding performance, delivery, quality, service, and value expectations.

Develop the core capabilities of the company by succession planning through systematic acquisition of top talents and people development to serve customer needs and prepare for future growth.

Provide leadership and support to improve market share and increase sales through all channels of distribution for the Company’s products.

Drive substantial operational improvements and cost-out results through strategic initiatives and lean manufacturing processes.

Ensure that an appropriate product differentiation roadmap is in place and being executed to exploit current and anticipated market opportunities.

Drive the growth and business development strategy/execution to identify emerging business opportunities aggressively penetrating undeveloped markets and gaining market share in existing markets.
Qualifications/Requirements
-
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in commercial and operational management, preferably within a medium to large sized B2B environment. P&L management experience of at least $100 million is preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, while a master’s degree or an MBA would be preferred.

Proven background of setting clear and realistic goals, ensuring clear accountabilities, and aligning the organization to deliver break through growth and differentiated results.

Experience in building, engaging, and motivating a geographically dispersed team and driving team results effectively.

Hands on leader to drive deep understanding of Siteworks markets, experience in deep diving a verticals, regions, and product applications to develop effective GTM plans to take share.
