Operations Manager / General Manager Job Advertisement
Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Operations Manager/General Manager to join our W&L team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire day-to-day operations of our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) business, including warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This position requires a balance of strategic leadership, financial oversight, and operational expertise to ensure the successful and profitable delivery of 3PL services, with the potential to develop into a regional, multi-site management role.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Lead, motivate, and develop large operational teams (including operations managers, warehouse staff, and drivers) while managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the unit to drive profitability and meet complex client expectations.
Command end-to-end operational processes, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics, by developing production schedules and ensuring resource allocation for the timely completion of assignments.
Drive continuous operational improvement and risk mitigation by analyzing key performance metrics (KPIs) and applying methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to optimize workflows and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience in warehouse or logistics, with specific expertise in warehouse fulfillment or e-commerce management (onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping).
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a proven track record of managing complex operations and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Proven ability in financial oversight, including budgeting, P&L responsibility, and cost management, alongside strong conflict and customer relationship management skills.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred in a relevant field, or industry certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma certification.

Salary details: $104,800 - $160,000.
Location: Riverside, CA.
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed).
