The role will provide leadership to all the operating and supporting functions for Intergalactic and will partner with rest of the Unison leadership team and Future of Flight Engineering teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for SQDC, customer satisfaction and the overall profitability for the Intergalactic business/portfolio
  • Coach and develop cross functional teams
  • Oversee all financial metrics including revenue growth, operating profit and free cash flow
  • Identify and execute strategic commercial actions to improve contract profitability
  • Establish and maintain close business relationships with customers driving strong adoption of the new technology
  • Drive the Thermal management strategy for the business and execute on technology and manufacturing maturation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience, especially in aerospace industry

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Direct customer experience, negotiations, influence and problem solving
  • Strong operating background, program and shop operations experience preferred
  • Technical/engineering acumen
  • Strong team leadership and talent development
  • Horizontal collaboration, networking and working across matrixed organizations
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Lean and continuous improvement mindset and experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, for applicants who are not asylees, refugees, lawful permanent residents or U.S. Citizens (i.e., not a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), otherwise known as a U.S. Person), final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
