Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000
Employment Status: Full-Time
The General Ledger Accountant I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the accounting team with daily financial operations. This position will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and supporting the month-end close process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation and posting of journal entries
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Support audits by providing the requested documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
- 0–2 years of accounting or relevant internship experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- 20 Days of PTO per Year + 10 Paid Holidays
