Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Company in Cambridge, Ontario, offers custom design and truck-body manufacturing and upfitting of utility, service, construction, railway and other custom truck bodies.  Our environmentally-friendly truck bodies are researched, designed and customized to our customers’ satisfaction. 

 

Who will you be working with?

As a member of the team at Pride Bodies Ltd., you will be working daily in the Brake and Shear Department with 2 other employees and the department supervisor.

  • Perform work that is accurate and finished to the satisfaction of our end customers.

 

What do we want to know about you?

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required;
  • Stamina and strength to perform manual labor;
  • Provide a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract. Willing to obtain DZ license and lift-truck license;
  • Excellent hand-eye-coordination skills;
  • High school diploma/GED preferred;
  • Comfortable working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations;
  • Provide labour support as needed for various teams;
  • Maintain a clean work environment in each department;
  • Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks;
  • No relocation assistance provided for this position.

  • Perform manual duties as set out by supervisor;
  • Responsibilities include working with power tools, helping to maintain a clean work environment in each department;
  • Assist in each department with general duties or as assigned by supervisor;
  • Be willing to learn new skills that will assist each department where needed.

Safety glasses, steel-toed safety shoes and hearing protection must be worn for the entirety of the shift.

  • Day shift: 41-hour work week, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. M-Th, 7 a.m. to Noon F;
  • Wage rate:  $24.29 per hour;
  • Annual vacation, company-paid holidays;
