Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is recruiting for the skilled and result driven Labourers to work in our lodges across Alberta.
This is a full-time position operating on 3 weeks on and 1 week off rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, including moving materials to work location
- Assist in set up of modular units
- Conduct daily inspection of machinery if necessary
- Assist tradespersons such as Carpenters and other trades in construction activities
- Assist in demolishing buildings using tools. Sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
- Clean finished units
- Perform site cleaning, snow removal and landscaping projects as required
- Provide general site cleanup as directed by the site Foreman
- Perform other activities at construction sites as directed
- Follow all company, job and client-specific safety protocols and OH&S legislation.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school is required
- Minimum 5 years of directly related laborer experience in residential, commercial and light industrial construction and renovation
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean 5-year driving abstract
- Specialized knowledge, experience and current tickets for operation of equipment, such as skid steer, wheeled loader and forklift
- Must have Fall Protection (OSSA), Confined Space/Monitoring (OSSA), Elevated Work Platform, CSTS and Standard First Aid with CPR
- Ability to work physically and regularly lift up to 50 lb.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Attention to details, accuracy and strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to meet required project deadlines
- Ability to interact co-operatively and professionally with customers and co-workers

- Establish high standards of personal performance with a continuous emphasis on achieving quality work, on time and within budget.
- Understand and apply instruction from the Site Foreman or designated Lead Hand in preparing for the project, which may involve selecting materials, planning sequences or methods of work and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions.
- Assisting coworkers by accurately cutting and shaping materials as required.
- Effectively joining pieces or parts with adhesives, nails and screws.
- Disposing of scrap material and returning unused material to inventory.
- Participate in and accept PTI safety policies and principles.
- Contribute as a key member on the Construction Services team.

- High School Diploma
- 2 plus years of experience, preferably within a residential or commercial construction environment.
- Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) and First Aid certifications preferred.

- Available to work on a rotational schedule, in a remote environment.
- A valid, class 5 or higher driver’s license is required, as well as a clean driver’s abstract.
