Position Highlights

  • Full-time, hospital-employed position
  • ERCP experience required
  • Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and urgent endoscopic procedures
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy
  • Evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and complex digestive disorders
  • Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits, providing continuity of care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental best practices
  • Optional involvement in resident education, curriculum development, and faculty activities through the Internal Medicine Residency Program

Schedule

  • Half-day in Endoscopy
  • Half-day inpatient rounding and add-on procedures
  • Daily schedule designed around patient needs
  • Shared call rotation of 1:5 with an established regional gastroenterology call group
