Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a high level of heat/humidity conditions due to working in a non-climate controlled facility. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud. Due to the machinery required for this position, the employee may at times be at risk of electrical shock.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Hours of work are dependent upon role most manufacturing roles are 7a-3p, with the possibility of overtime and Saturdays required as needed per company business needs.
Requirements
- You must be a least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation
- Upon offer acceptance undergo a background check and drug screening test.
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day), stand and walk occasionally, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. Must also be able to bend and twist as necessary.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally team lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Skills Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to the worksite.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening upon offer.
- Willingness/availability to work typical manufacturing shift (often 7am-3pm), overtime, and occasional Saturdays.
- Ability to perform physical demands: sit up to 8-10 hours, stand/walk occasionally, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally team-lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Required vision and hearing abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus; ability to hear and speak).
