Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced General Accountant with approximately 6 years of accounting experience to join our finance team at the Manteno factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and general ledger management, along with experience in international environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare financial statements and budgets.
- Analyze variances to provide actionable insights for management.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and analyze the financial reporting and general ledger systems.
Team Building & System Improvement:
- Build and lead the financial team.
- Enhance project accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Management:
- Manage financing activities, M&A projects, tax planning, audits, and risk control measures.
Compliance & Control:
- Ensure proper accounting and business controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
Market Research:
- Analyze financial reports of competitors and market trends.
- Provide insightful information to aid in the company's strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.
- Experience in an international working environment; experience in the US battery industry is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
Technical Skills:
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP.
Soft Skills:
- Self-starter with the ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Positive attitude with adaptability to changes in workload and job requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams.
