General Accountant

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in line with accounting standards 
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts 
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes 
• Prepare and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness 
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations 
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls

Responsabilities:

• Managing and tracking payment processes for three different group companies
• Perform daily accounting operations using ERP systems (SAP is preferred.)
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports 
• Support VAT refund process preparation and follow-up 
• Report directly to the Country Finance Manager

Accountability:

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within accounting systems
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting requirements
   

Key competencies:

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking skills
• Team player with effective communication skills

Ideal background/ experience:

• University Degree, Business School or equivalent experience 
• 2 – 3 years experience in accounting with SAP Knowledge
