This role will be part of Hiring for setting up a PMU for CITIIS 2.0 under Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha. The requirements are as below:
Education: Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related disciplines from a recognized institution
Total Experience: 12+ years
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and community development, preferably in the urban development or climate resilience sectors.
• Experience in working with government programmes, multilateral projects, or development agencies focused on gender equality, social justice, or climate action.
• Proven experience in developing gender action plans, gender audits, or GESI frameworks in urban or environmental projects project.
• Strong understanding of national and state-level gender policies, urban missions (e.g., Smart Cities, CITIIS, etc.)
Duration: 2 year contract with an additional 1-year extension possible
