| Production Technology

Our Production Technology team sets technical standards, drives industry innovation, and provides direct production support across Netflix's global slate. We work hands-on with creative teams, crews, post facilities, and internal partners - from capture through delivery - ensuring our workflows balance creative ambition with technical excellence. Beyond support, we actively explore emerging opportunities in sound, imaging, and production technology, always grounded in real-world filmmaking practice.

| Role Overview

We are seeking a GenAI Technology Integrations Manager to connect cutting-edge AI technologies with real-world production practice. This role partners with filmmakers, production partners, and vendors, and creative professionals to explore how AI can enhance storytelling. The role also works closely with internal production teams to ensure AI workflows are applied effectively, responsibly, and with clear creative intent. You bring strong creative sensibility, technical understanding, and clear communication skills. You will help assess team readiness, guide AI adoption, and support higher creative quality, faster iteration, and smarter spend. You will also work with Product, Legal, and Content Operations partners to turn field learnings into practical guidance and scalable education, helping teams confidently balance traditional approaches with GenAI tools.

| Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities where AI can be used effectively, whether for image, sound, or other creative elements.

    • Develop content, case studies, and live demonstrations that showcase how to leverage GenAI tools most effectively.

  • Consult on specific creative challenges and help determine if AI or traditional methods are best suited.

    • Collaborate closely with internal production team members, directors, producers, and external creative leads to align AI approaches with the core creative vision and find ways to integrate AI into pre- and post-production workflows.

    • Guide the creation of final generative materials to meet creative and technical quality standards.

    • Provide time and resource assessments for AI vs. traditional production approaches.

  • Collect and champion partner and internal feedback, translating insights into product improvements and internal recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with copyright, IP, and data security standards when applying AI workflows.

  • Identify and recommend vendors, studios, and freelance talent with the right expertise in generative image, video, audio, and 3D assets.

| Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in film/series/gaming/VFX production.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-based image and video production.

  • Proficiency in key industry tools such as Unreal Engine, Adobe Premiere, Midjourney/Veo/Runway, etc. but not limited to.

  • Strong grasp of end-to-end production and post (from development and previs through VFX turnover, conform/online, and delivery).

  • Excellent communication skills to bridge creative and technical teams.

  • Skilled at translating complex topics into simple presentations geared towards internal and external audiences. 

  • Portfolio is required showcasing AI-integrated workflows, breakdowns, and before/after results.

Preferred:

  • Degree in design, film, technology, or related fields.

  • Experience designing and managing AI production pipelines on a project basis.

  • Knowledge of industry-standard data formats, color pipelines, and asset management systems.

  • Familiarity with the AI talent and vendor ecosystem.

  • High interest in creative ideation and visual storytelling.
