Product Owner – Generative AI Foundational Team

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and visionary Product Owner to join our growing Generative AI team. You will be responsible for leading the product strategy and development of innovative AI solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring these solutions to market and drive business impact. This is a position that requires a deep understanding of these technologies and the ability to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder & requirements Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design,and other business stakeholders. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Effectively communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Work closely with Architects, data scientists, engineers, and designers to translate product vision into technical requirements.
  • Prioritize features and functionality based on market trends, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities for generative AI within the enterprise.
  • Define the product vision and roadmap, aligning with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with program execution. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges and obstacles to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Work to allocate and optimize resources for program activities. Identify skill gaps and develop plans to address them. Ensure teams have the necessary tools, technologies, and support to execute programs effectively.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success. Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Prepare regular status reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the technology or enterprise software industry.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's / master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Some experience with generative AI models and applications.
  • Basic knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts.
  • Experience working with large language models (LLMs) or other generative models.
