What You Will Do:

• Develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models, including large language models (LLMs), to solve complex problems in the financial /health/ state and local/cyber industry.
• Build production-grade AI/ML systems and data products that can be reliably deployed and scaled.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Continuously optimize and improve AI/ML models and systems to enhance performance and business impact.
• Communicate technical concepts and model capabilities to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Stay up to date with developments in AI/ML.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Minimum TWO (2) years of experience in building production-grade AI/ML systems and data products using best practices in software engineering
• Ability to analyze large and complex data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis focused on financial services use cases.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks.
• Ability to identify and address client needs, build relationships, design, and implement solutions.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Master's degree
• Experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems at scale in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of ML/analytics product lifecycle management (MLOps, DataOps).
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant academic/industry journals.
• Technical/product management and software experience.
• Familiarity with the Azure OpenAI service and LLM agent APIs such as LangChain.
• Familiarity with AWS bedrock and Claude.
• AWS and Azure certifications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
