POSITION SUMMARY:
Gelcoat is a liquid that hardens to form a thick layer of protective fiberglass and gives a shiny, smooth finish. This position applies gel coat to production hull and deck molds by using hand operated spray equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operates spray gun to apply various coats of gel coat to molds according to production schedule, ensuring color, finish and thickness are adhered to.
- Pulls tape on deck or hull molds.
- Maintains and cleans test gel coating equipment to ensure it operates as required.
- Maintains a clean and environmentally safe work area.
- Continued awareness and protective actions regarding all health, safety and chemical protocols and processes
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
