Role Overview:
- The Customer Support Planner will lead job quotation, resource and tooling allocation, team deployment, and job execution through to final invoicing. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the Operations Leader to coordinate manpower and tooling for engine repairs, both in-shop and offsite.
- Serve as a liaison across multiple departments to ensure effective operational planning.
- Communicate with internal team and customers to ensure seamless service delivery and work scope execution.
- Provide comprehensive support to the team regarding technical, logistical, environmental, health & safety (EH&S), and quality requirements.
- Understand appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of aviation quality procedures and standards, including EASA Part 145 regulations.
- Apply Human Factors principles to identify and mitigate risks during task planning.
- Coordinate with the Materials team to ensure timely deliveries that meet customer expectations.
- Support commercial team in quoting and managing of work scopes, parts, and logistics.
- Track cost accumulation, process invoices, and assist in accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Review operational metric reports and collaborate with customers to ensure expectations are met.
- Execute business-specific strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide rapid, cross-functional support for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
- Lead Daily Management meetings in support of GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK initiative, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the Aviation Industry
- Availability to work flexible shift patterns as required, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability and willingness to support calls during off-hours when emergency situations arise.
