As an Engineering intern you will be an active contributor to:
Develops and implements test cases in accordance with product test plans as automated tests. Designs, develops and modifies automated product test suites to meet company release objectives.
Create automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework to test radio communications products.
Assist in the development of new engineering Test Plans
Provide input and review of Test Plans
Expand defined Test Plans into comprehensive test cases
Perform defined test cases by automation to validate against specific product requirements

As a Co-op/Intern for the Critical Infrastructure Communications (CIC) team we will prepare you for an exciting career, tackling one of the world’s toughest challenges providing industrial communications equipment to help enable the grid of the future.
What you'll do
Read and fully understand documentation and engineering specifications that are public, private and/or provided by customers.
Create and configure test environments, including but not limited to Robot Framework, LabVIEW, Test STAND, Selenium, etc.
Report Product defects as discovered into Jira Database
Utilize Jira or other system to track work activities
Develop and maintain specific product automated test suites
Develop test scripts using Python
Develop test suites within Robot Framework
Maintain existing Automation developed previously in LabVIEW
Ability to develop new test automation including but not limited to LabVIEW
Assemble and maintain the hardware configuration and test setup to enable the test automation
Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and technical managers.
Grow your technical expertise in software and test automation and expand your skills in new areas.
Gain exposure to industrialization at our onsite manufacturing plant in Rochester, NY.
Work on an assignment / project within engineering & technology to stretch your learning and skillset.
Report progress and status to project management. Perform rough estimates of time required to implement features and resolve issues, helping with task prioritization.
Use your academic knowledge to complete assigned project(s), deliver positive outcomes, and contribute to the success of our team.
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications):
Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field of study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other equivalent software degree
Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program.
Completed at least two full years of college.

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
