Job Description:
We are seeking a GCP Platform Engineer to lead the infrastructure design and implementation of our ML platform on Google Cloud. This role involves setting up scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure using GCP services and IaC practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage GCP infrastructure including GKE, AlloyDB, VPCs, IAM, and load balancing
- Use Terraform and other IaC tools to automate provisioning
- Implement security best practices for networking, access control, and data protection
- Provide infrastructure support for Vertex AI and MLOps workflows
- Guide internal teams on GCP infrastructure usage and standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience building infrastructure on GCP
- Hands-on experience with GKE (Kubernetes) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC tools
- Knowledge of IAM, VPC, firewall rules, and cloud security
- Familiarity with Linux and container technologies
Nice to Have:
- GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with AlloyDB, CloudSQL, or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines
