Position Summary
Seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform while supporting development teams with scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage GCP infrastructure (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, networking)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
- Configure monitoring, logging, and security using Cloud Operations Suite
- Automate deployments and maintain disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with dev teams on architecture and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years GCP experience with core services (Compute, Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery)
- Strong Kubernetes/Docker and networking knowledge
- Proficiency in Terraform and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud migrations
- Experience with Github
- GCP Associate/Professional certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
- Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Database administration knowledge
- Cost optimization experience
