Assists with negotiating transaction deal documents and facilitates deal closings in a timely manner for Global Capital Markets (GCM) clients.
Primary Responsibilities:Assist in negotiating and closing transactions in which Wilmington Trust serves as in Trustee capacity, as well as other complementary roles and products.
Assist more senior personnel on negotiating deal documents and facilitating deal closings.
Develop deal manager skills to facilitate deal closings under limited supervision.
Escalate client issues to more experienced personnel and ensure they are prioritized appropriately.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
This position works on a team of individual contributors under direct management supervision.

Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ work experience
