Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a key member of the GBS Talent Acquisition team in Manila, acting as a recruitment and process expert. This role is responsible for end-to-end recruitment, high-volume and specialized hiring, process excellence, and employer branding initiatives supporting growth of newly built Manila hub.
You will partner closely with Hiring Managers and business leaders, drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, and contribute to the growth and maturity of the GBS talent ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including job postings, proactive sourcing, screening, interviews, stakeholder coordination, feedback management, offer negotiation, and closure.
Handle recruitment processes end to end
Partner closely with Hiring Managers to define hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver timely outcomes.
Proactively source candidates using traditional, digital, and creative sourcing channels, including direct search.
Maintain real-time ATS (Workday) administration, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and meaningful recruitment reporting, appropriate adoption and utilization of workday.
Develop, document, and continuously improve recruitment processes and SOPs.
Lead and support project-based hiring initiatives, acting as the main TA point of contact for business stakeholders.
Drive employer branding initiatives, including internal and external campaigns and social media engagement.
Participate in and contribute to global and local HR/TA projects.
Support the GBS TA Lead in training and coaching junior recruiters, especially on complex topics such as offer proposals and employment contracts.
Ensure compliance with local labour laws, internal policies, and TA governance standards.
Perform other TA-related responsibilities as required to support business growth.
Qualifications, experience and skills critical for success:
3 - 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within GCC environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Academic degree or equivalent diploma in relevant subject matter
Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment and talent sourcing.
Proven experience managing high-volume hiring along with niche or specialized roles.
Excellent understanding of candidate assessment and selection methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Passionate recruiter with curiosity, learning mindset, and continuous improvement orientation.
Experience in hiring tech profiles.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent spoken and written English.
