Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative Data Entry:
- Perform basic data entry tasks (e.g., entering new client information into the database, subcontract results to LIMS etc.); verification of data accuracy (sample login, invoice received).
- Report Preparation:
- Prepare laboratory reports or other types of reports from data tables. Manage and present reports as trained and assigned in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or other database system to ensure accuracy of the information in reports.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative Data Entry:
- Enter subcontract laboratory data. Verification of report data accuracy, invoice data, maintenance of a customer database, and others. Perform basic data entry tasks while checking the accuracy and consistency of entered data to ensure information quality. Organize and maintain databases with relevant and properly structured information. Review and approval of invoices from external laboratories.
- Report Preparation:
- Prepare laboratory or other types of reports with accurate information: sample identification, analyzed parameters, results, methods used, applicable standards, and conclusions. Ensure all data (samples, dates, analysis methods, results) are complete and accurate. Submit reports for review and approval by the laboratory supervisor or responsible party. Report any errors or inconsistencies found during the review
PROFILE AND SKILLS:
- University degree (minimum of four years studies) in related careers. Education in science is required, in chemistry preferred.
- Experience in Food testing is advantegous.
- Intermediate-advanced English (B2+ level).
- A minimum of one year of experience in data entry, management and verification will be valued. Proven experience with data quality and operational excellence is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn quickly new technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify minor discrepancies.
- Strong sense of responsibility for the quality and integrity of the work assigned.
- Proficient in effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, manage time effectively.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate efficiently in diverse work environments.
