Ecolab has an opening for a GBS+ Continuous Improvement Manager in our GBS+ Continuous Improvement CoE. The individual will lead and execute mid to long-term projects of medium to high complexity using advanced continuous improvement and project management tools and expertise to address critical business needs, with the goal of optimizing business processes, reducing costs, and driving business growth. The Continuous Improvement Manager II will identify and evaluate various options and secure approval and/or support for the best alternatives from the Project Sponsors, GBS+ Portfolio Leadership, and Global Capability Leaders.
What You Will Do:
- Leads and supports GBS+ Portfolio projects, delivers timely results, tracks improvements, ensures control, and maintains accountability.
- Seeks out and quantifies process-improvement opportunities within complex process environments
- Assesses and identifies risk to fulfill the defined objectives.
- Identifies organizational barriers; works with Continuous Improvement Director, respective Global Capability Leaders, Delivery Leads to recommend and implement solutions.
- Assesses and critiques resources for projects. Participates in project selection process, determines benefits, recommends resources/team members.
- Organizes, plans, reviews, and communicates status of projects managed.
- Coaches and mentors operational teams in project management and continuous improvement..
- Trains and mentors project team members in advanced project management methodologies.
- Models operational excellence, visibly demonstrating leadership/change management behaviors.
- Networks with internal/external resources to bring best practices to the projects/organization.
Minimum Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience.
- Formal 5-7 years of project management experience or proven skills, preferably in Finance or Global Business Services
- Relevant experience in Finance or Global Business Services processes including knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source of Pay, etc.
- Black Belt/PMBOK/Agile (or equivalents) trained and certified
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated skills to influence decision makers and motivate team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Advanced degree preferred

- Proven success initiating change and ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
