The Systematic Trading Strategies (“STS”) business group is responsible for the development of indices and strategies for all financial markets traded within FICC and Equities globally. STS gives institutional investors access to sophisticated quantitative investment strategies. Leveraging exceptional infrastructure, the STS team designs systematic indices and strategies on global markets across Equities, Interest Rates, Credit, FX and Commodities, ranging from pure market access to carry, relative value, hedging and defensive-oriented strategies.
The STS team is looking to hire a Junior AI Structurer/Developer that can help accelerate the growth of the business by developing AI solutions which increase the efficiency of the business, reduce operational risks, enhance our client experience and support the creation of innovative investment strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build and deploy AI-driven web applications as part of a growing multi-app platform that automates key workflows across the investment lifecycle of the STS business.
- Develop AI agents that handle repetitive Sales Strats tasks such as index methodology Q&A, investor report generation, financial news aggregation, client due diligence responses, and quantitative strategy prototyping.
- Extend the platform's data infrastructure.
- Build full-stack applications (Python server-side, HTML/CSS/JavaScript client-side) using a modular architecture that enables rapid creation and deployment of new tools.
- Partner with Engineering on productionising and deploying applications.
- Provide ongoing support, monitoring and iterative improvement of deployed applications and pipelines. Track efficiency gains and quantify ROI.
- Proactively identify new opportunities where AI can reduce operational risk, improve efficiency, or enhance the client experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent academic record (Bachelor or Master) in a relevant field such as computer science, artificial intelligence or machine learning.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in an AI/ML-focused software development or engineering role.
- Strong programming proficiency in an object-oriented or functional paradigm such as C++, Java or Python.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML solutions in a corporate or production environment
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices, version control and testing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Skills Required
