The Latam Structuring desk is a client-facing role sitting at the intersection of sales, trading, and quantitative strategists. We are the firm's primary center for financial engineering, responsible for designing and executing innovative, bespoke solutions for local and global clients focused on Latin American markets.
We specialize in complex, cross-asset structured products across Fixed Income, Credit and FX, helping our clients to manage risk, deploy capital and raise financing in innovative and creative ways.

This posting is for a position based in our headquarters in New York City.
What we do
- Design and price derivatives, structured financing solutions and bespoke investments products across Latin American markets
- Work alongside sales to gain a deeper understanding of clients’ financial needs in order to design innovative products
- Work alongside trading to ensuring such solutions are structured in a thoughtful manner and make sense for the firm from a risk/reward perspective
- Work with other key internal stakeholders (including legal, accounting, operations and tax) to build robust and suitable solutions that take into account idiosyncratic regulatory environments in the different jurisdictions we operate in
- Project-manage complex transactions, including taking them through various internal committees, in order to get them across the finish line
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for versatile profiles with different quantitative and soft skills amongst:
- 2-5 years experience
- Experience in Fixed Income Structuring, Sales or Trading in an international bank, preferably working with Latin American clients and with structured products
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required
- Intellectual curiosity, a proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn and develop
- Excellent academic background, Bachelor/Master level in quantitative fields such as (but not exclusively) Engineering, Computer Science, Math and Economics
- Ability to work on long term projects as well as being able to perform some tasks under pressure in the fast-paced environment
- Strong written/verbal communication skills, being able to communicate complex and abstract ideas in a simple and intuitive way

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
