What You Will Do:
We are pleased to announce Gateway to Guidehouse Life Sciences, an immersive 3-day program aimed at providing advanced degree candidates an inside view into Guidehouse’s Life Sciences (LS) practice.
Candidates selected for the program will experience what consulting is like at Guidehouse LS and hone core consulting skills through a simulated LS project. Candidates will also have the opportunity to network with LS team members, including those with an advanced degree background.
This year’s program will be held July 16th - 18th, 2025 at our Chicago office. Guidehouse Life Sciences also has US offices in Boston, Philadelphia, and New York.
Guidehouse Life Sciences partners with biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and their investors to ignite and sustain marketplace success and patient health, with a focus on pipeline strategy, commercial transformation, market access, and business redesign.

What You Will Need:

Enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, MPH, MHA, MS, JD, etc.) through Fall 2025 with anticipated graduation by Summer 2026 or currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Interested Master's degree candidates will need 3+ years of relevant prior work experience (preferably in the life sciences and/or healthcare industries)

Demonstrated interest in strategy consulting / business and the Life Sciences (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, MedTech companies)

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and oral and written communication skills

Available to attend the in-person Gateway to Guidehouse Life Sciences program in Chicago from July 16-18th, 2025

For candidates who would require sponsorship in future, consideration will only be given to doctoral students and STEM-designated MBA students
Application Timeline & Process Overview:
Interested candidates must submit their application no later than 11:59pm ET on Friday, February 28th, 2025. Candidates will receive invitations to interview for the program on a rolling basis and will proceed to one Behavioral and one Case Interview with Guidehouse LS team members. Candidates will be informed as to status of their candidacy no later than March 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early as participation offers will also be extended on a rolling basis.
Participants selected for the Gateway to Guidehouse Life Sciences program will also be advanced to final-round interviews for full-time consulting roles with Guidehouse Life Sciences with Summer 2026 start dates.
The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
