Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group, the leading physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is actively recruiting for a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join an established team of four gastroenterologists at Morton Plant Hospital, in Clearwater Florida.


Highlights of this exciting opportunity include:  

  • Proficiency in ERCP is required.  Candidates that have Advanced Endoscopy/EUS Fellowship training are preferred.
  • Inpatient call would be 1:4, rotated equally and 1:5/6 once fully staffed 
  • Procedures and inpatient consults are performed at one hospital 
  • Opportunity to do procedures at an outpatient facility
  • Excellent system support and referral base – incoming physician will gain an established patient base in no time!
Qualifications
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology
  • ERCP and EUS skills / completion of an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship
  • Ability to obtain a Florida medicine license
