As a Gas Fitter, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operations and keep up with the demanding and high paced winter heating season. Advancement in the apprenticeship program possible for the right individual.
What you'll do:
Install, service, maintain and tear down temporary heating systems
Work with propane and natural gas systems
Service and maintain construction heaters
Load and unload equipment, operating 1 and 2 tonne picker trucks
Provide superior customer service
Requirements:
Registered Apprentice in the provincial Gasfitter program/ Certified Gasfitter B preferred
Must have class 5 license and clean driving record
Experience in temporary construction heating
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Able to work overtime including on call shifts and possible weekends
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
