Core Responsibilities

  • Manage consistent pipeline of industry research and insights.
  • Evaluate research to inform a range of IPs, game genres, platforms/technologies and partnerships to explore.
  • Develop business cases for potential partnerships and products.
  • Promote the LEGO Group’s activities and opportunities in the gaming space to prospective partners.
  • Participate in regular cadence of collaborative sessions to update key internal customers and external partners on business development activities.
  • Provide continuous, constructive feedback to colleagues and partners.
  • Review contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.

The LEGO Group has a long history of success in digital gaming, and the ambition to grow this area of the business significantly in the future. Achieving that ambition will require a concerted effort to build and maintain long term strategic partnerships and evaluate a wide range of inbound opportunities, primarily within the gaming and entertainment spaces. Maturing these opportunities ‘from pitch to product’ will contribute directly to the LEGO Group’s long-term success in digital gaming across a range of important metrics including reach, engagement and revenue.

Please note: This is a position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive proven business development success in gaming and/or entertainment (digital gaming experience preferred).
  • Related experience in client management, marketing, or a sales-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of partnership and metric growth levers in gaming space.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • Sharp negotiation and networking/relationship building skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for the LEGO Group’s growth potential in the gaming space.
