PrizePicks is looking for a detail oriented, statistically-minded individual who excels in a fast-paced environment to trade our precise sports projections on a day-to-day basis.


What you’ll do:

  • Implement strategies, best practices, and processes around key markets
  • Work with the Director of Game Operations - Trading to mentor and develop the Trading Team
  • Maintain accurate pre-game and in-game player projections for all sports, leagues, and markets. This includes, but isn’t limited to; NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, CBB, and CFB.
  • Monitor player projections throughout the day and track any key information needed for projections
  • Manage risk and liability accordingly utilizing modeling and quantitative analysis
  • Understand PrizePicks members' play patterns and adjust internal processes and projections accordingly
  • Work with Analytics and VIP to identify and highlight VIP members and keep track of sharp betting action alike
  • Help set up and maintain standard operating procedures around PrizePicks Game Operations tasks
  • Assist with reporting requirements as directed by management team
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate trainings and learning opportunities to help develop the Game Operations - Trading Team
  • Lead the Game Operations - Trading team by example through complying with all processes and SOPs
  • First point of contact to resolve escalated issues involving the Trading Team

 What you have:

  • Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work on nights & weekends (coinciding with sports schedule)
  • Excellent time management, reliability, and ability to meet highly important deadlines
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze several streams of information concurrently and make thoughtful decisions in a highly time-sensitive environment
  • Extensive Sports Gaming or DFS knowledge and experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of college/major sports league players, teams, players, matchups and understanding of how said information impacts projections
  • Ability to take direction from Game Operations leadership
  • Highly proficient with Google Suite or similar software
  • Ability to learn new or updated software
  • Must be able obtain and be eligible for all required licenses, as applicable
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, accounting) preferred but not required

  • Anywhere in the US is fine but Atlanta would be preferred
