We are now seeking an experienced Game Artist to join the team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Some Unity and Coding skills preferable
• Software skills across Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
• Develops work product through fluent use of 3D graphics packages such as Blender, 3ds Max and Maya, as well as 2D packages such as Photoshop. Proficient with After Effects.
• 3D Modelling and Animation skills (Blender, Maya or 3D Studio Max)
• Motion Graphic design, User Interface design and UX design (preferred)
• Solid Understanding of Animation principles
• Drafts UI wireframes, UI elements, character and story images, backgrounds with application of highly developed artistic skill
• Strong Portfolio demonstrating Art skills covering above
• Creative and strategic thinker, able to brainstorm
• Have design awareness to ensure the most appropriate creative response to a brief
• Strong Team Player

Qualifications:

Education / Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in gaming

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A portfolio with examples and detailed breakdowns, showcasing practical work.
• Solid understanding of authoring PBR and stylized materials.
• Ability to create high-resolution 3D sculpts, finished renders and final low polygon game assets for highly creative items, characters, and creatures.
• Comprehensive understanding of design, composition, form, shape, structure, silhouette, details and surfacing, to deliver an aesthetically pleasing and believable asset.
• Solid understanding and proven experience of game art creation outside of 3D assets and implementation (e.g. Concept, Lighting, VFX, Animation, Rendering).
• Maintaining knowledge of best practices in modelling, sculpting, and procedural techniques, as well as using them to efficiently create game-ready art.
