Overview:

Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Owning all aspects of the accounting cycle for a comprehensive set of balance sheet accounts including the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close .

• Preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and reports, identify, and correct issues raised at the regional level

• Audit support pertaining to corporate and local audits

• Identify process improvements and help with global standardization.

• Examine and analyze accounting and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures

• Review work completed by junior staff members

• Work on Ad hoc projects based on the requirements from Global Finance team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in accounting or finance preferred

• 5 years of related experience

• 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting with global exposure to multiple countries

• SAP experience

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with global team

• High attention to detail & time management

• Strong Investigative skills & ability to troubleshoot

• Should be open to work in US time zone
