Diamond Foundry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented G/L Accounting Manager to oversee our Accounting Function. The role will be responsible for managing OPEX operations, improving processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and financial reporting. In addition, this role will lead/mentor the current team of 3 US-based employees. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor the General Ledger team, providing leadership and professional development. 
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely global reporting and oversight of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end AP Process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice and payment processing with proper approvals (including but not limited to 1099 filings). 
  • Prepare and review periodic financial statement fluctuation (flux) analyses on a month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter basis. 
  • Contribute to the preparation of disclosures and footnotes for external reporting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements. While also coordinating with external auditors in connection with the annual external audits. 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of G/L experience, with 3+ years in a management role. 
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, accounting best practices, multi-entry and/or multi-currency enviornment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities, and experience working in a high-growth or startup enviornment. 
  • Process automation and system implementation experience with a proficiency in Netsuite and Rippling Spend is preferred.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist,  climb, balance, stoop, squat,  kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. 
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
