The Accessories Design Associate supports the creation of market-leading G/FORE accessories, working closely with the Design team across concept, design execution, and development. This role contributes to seasonal and year-round initiatives through design support, technical documentation, and sample development, helping bring the brand’s creative vision to life from initial concept through production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support the concept, design, and development of innovative accessories products aligned with G/FORE’s brand DNA.
  • Assist in executing the creative vision for the accessories category, translating design direction into commercially viable product.
  • Create and maintain detailed tech packs and BOMs, clearly communicating construction, materials, trims, graphics, and specifications.
  • Manage and maintain PLM and style set up.
  • Execute design work that reflects G/FORE’s visual language and adheres to direction set by the SVP of Design.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, and Production to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Manage the organization, tracking, and maintenance of prototypes and samples in collaboration with the Product Development team.
  • Own day-to-day updates to seasonal development line sheets, line books, and color cards.
  • Communicate directly with factories and mills to ensure samples and production are executed accurately and to design intent.
  • Maintain and update the Style Wall as prototypes evolve and samples are approved.
  • Support Merchandising during sales meeting preparation and seasonal sales campaign set-ups.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accessories construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in a accessories design role.
  • Strong knowledge of footwear trends and market dynamics.
  • Experience or familiarity with the golf footwear market is a plus.
