FX Sales Analyst - Sub-Saharan Africa

Job Summary
As an FX Sales Analyst in our Sub-Saharan Africa team, you will provide sales coverage to a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, including Corporates, NBFIs, FIs, and Sovereigns. You will collaborate with colleagues to generate trade ideas, execute transactions, and support the firm's objectives across asset classes. Your expertise will help clients navigate the FX market and regulatory landscape.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales coverage and relationship management for institutional clients in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Execute trades and transactions across FX products, including cash, payments, derivatives, and hybrid strategies
- Collaborate with team members to deliver cross-asset solutions and achieve business goals
- Generate and communicate trade ideas to clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory developments
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in FX, including OTC and listed FX products
- Sales experience covering corporates and/or institutional clients
- Strong technical understanding of FX products and derivatives
- Demonstrated knowledge of the South African regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge of the macro environment and analytical skills
- Ability to execute with skill and urgency
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience working with NBFIs, FIs, and Sovereigns in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Strong markets acumen
- Ability to generate actionable trade ideas
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships in a fast-paced environment
