Tell me about this job. This Data Manager will be responsible for the followingConfiguration/Data Management (CM/DM) duties:
• Serve to integrate Data Management for the program, engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined CM/DM processes for the program
• Contribute to the overall evolving and maturing CM/DM policy and strategy
• Be the main POC for Data Access Control - reviewing Data Access Requests, tracking and auditing data accesses
• Data Warehousing - controlling the broad folder structures of the programs database(s), and then refining folder architecture at more granular levels with the data owners
• Collaborate across all functions within the program to incorporate CM/DM concepts, techniques, and requirements with their diverse CM/DM needs, and consistent with the system constraints
• Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent CM/DM in working groups or control boards
• Identify and mitigate CM/DM risks
• Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the program's objectives
• Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes within the program
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring metrics and for intervention and problem solving within the team, management, and government customers
• Knowledge of, and skill in, the use of principles of negotiation as required to reconcile diverse opinions that can arise from conflicts
• Participates in process improvements initiatives and implements more effective procedures
• Data Visualization - experience in creating insightful data visualizations and metric representations
• Verbal and written communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field from an ABET accredited program.
- 7 years of experience with configuration management (CM) or data management (DM).
- Experience in understanding, creating, and managing sound processes.
- Muss posses an active secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) and SCI. The criteria for granting clearance is set by the US Government.
- Familiarity with DoDM 5010.12, GEIA-859 SAE DM Standard, & MIL-STD-963C.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science, data science, or related field.
- Current Secret Clearance or higher, with Special Access Program (SAP).
- Knowledge of Air Force Operations.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification - Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP).
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107952 - $183518
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
