Typical duties include but are not limited to preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased to be carried out with professionalism, dignity, respect and adherence to health and safety standards.

If you’re successful in your application, we’ll perform some background checks as part of our pre-employment screening process. These will include a DBS (disclosure and barring service) and adverse media checks which includes social media activity on platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Skills Required
- Willingness to have direct physical contact with deceased as part of normal duties
- Ability to carry out physical elements of the role (e.g., moving coffins) with provided training and equipment
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to confidently work with numbers and perform basic calculations, cash handling and invoicing
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy; adherence to regulatory policies and processes
- Good IT skills and ability to use computers, tablets, smartphones, printers and learn new applications
- High levels of empathy, discretion and care when supporting clients
- Passion for delivering great service and building relationships
- Willingness and ability to work full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks (DBS and adverse media checks)
