South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We’re looking for a volunteer fundraising coordinator to help generate funds through new and existing channels so we can reach more women who need us.
What You'll Do:
Research and identify potential philanthropic grants that align with South Project’s mission and values.
Build and maintain a list of potential grants and track key information (e.g., eligibility requirements, deadlines, application processes).
Assist with the preparation of grant applications, and letters of inquiry for relevant opportunities.
Maintain records of outreach efforts, grant applications, and partnerships, ensuring all communications are documented.
Collaborate with the fundraising and development teams to ensure alignment with overall financial goals and strategies.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, remote role
Estimated 3-5 hours per week
What we're looking for:
Self-motivated and independent, with a strong ability to work proactively.
Experience with nonprofit fundraising or partnership development is a plus.

What We Do
South Project is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young mothers. The organization provides mentorship, educational workshops, and critical resources in a compassionate, stigma-free environment. Their mission is to help young mothers overcome obstacles, continue their education or pursue a trade, and build sustainable, independent lives for themselves and their children, while fostering self-sufficiency and community contribution.
