What You’ll Do

As the Fundraising & Business Expansion Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting fundraising campaigns and business expansion strategies that fuel the growth of our nonprofit initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with fundraising efforts – Help coordinate campaigns, events, and outreach activities to secure donations and build lasting relationships with donors.

  • Support business expansion strategies – Assist in identifying new opportunities for growth, partnerships, and collaboration within the community.

  • Coordinate events – Help plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and activities to engage supporters and increase donations.

  • Develop outreach materials – Assist with creating promotional content for social media, emails, and marketing materials that attract new donors and supporters.

  • Track and report on progress – Monitor the success of fundraising campaigns and provide regular updates to leadership and the team.

  • Collaborate with team members – Work closely with marketing, fundraising, and business development teams to implement expansion strategies and support the mission of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A strong passion for nonprofit work and social impact.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Basic understanding of fundraising principles and business development strategies is a plus, but not required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the nonprofit sector.
