The Role

Description
  1. Conduct in-depth credit analysis of group lending, including financial statement analysis, credit scoring, and risk rating assignments.
  2. Monitor the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying trends, concentrations, and potential risks; prepare regular reports for management.
  3. Liaise with Funding Team to define RAC per Lenders to manage PD & CoC as per agreed appetite.
  4. Assist in the assessment of credit risk exposure across various portfolios and product lines, providing insights on risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Maintain and update credit and portfolio databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for analysis and reporting.
  6. Support the development and execution of stress testing scenarios to evaluate portfolio resilience under adverse economic conditions.
  7. Work closely with the underwriting, finance, and compliance teams to align on credit policies and ensure adherence to risk management standards.
  8. Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk and portfolio management.
  9. Prepare presentations and reports summarizing credit risk assessments and portfolio performance for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or portfolio management within the financial services industry, especially in micro segment.
  3. Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies, financial analysis, and portfolio management techniques.
  4. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or risk management software).
  5. Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques, including statistical modeling.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  7. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  8. Ability to identify issues, think critically, and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
