We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Funding Panel Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. You’ll manage the end-to-end process of vehicle leases, support financial reconciliations, and ensure accurate billing and reporting. The role is based in our Birmingham office, near the NEC with the opportunity for hybrid working (3 set days per week in office, Tuesday - Thursday), following an initial training period, details of which will be discussed at interview.  This is a permanent opportunity, and we are looking to pay up to £30,000 depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Manage vehicle lease lifecycle, including in-life and end-of-life transactions.
• Reconcile rental charges, process residual value payments, early terminations, and lease extensions.
• Monitor and publish sales details of leased vehicles.
• Support the Funding Partner Lead and month-end processes (journals, accruals, prepayments).
• Ensure accurate customer billing and timely query resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.

What are we looking for?

• A good general level of education is required.
• Experience in a finance environment (major organisation and small teams).
• Proficient in finance systems and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Strong organisational and time management skills; able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in the motor industry is desirable, but not essential.
