The Fundamental Research Group (FRG) is a global team of Equity and Fixed Income Research Associates delivering high-quality, impactful research support to the Investment Group.
As a Manager, you will lead our New York team of Research Associates, partnering closely with investment professionals and global FRG peers to anticipate research needs and deliver exceptional outcomes. You will play a key role in setting team direction, driving operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive environment. You will also support the development of associates while contributing to broader departmental priorities aligned with Capital Group’s long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end research delivery, including prioritizing workflow, ensuring quality and timeliness, and continuously improving processes to meet regional and global needs
Build strong partnerships with investment professionals and act as the primary point of contact for research requests, aligning team priorities with business objectives
Foster a high-performing, inclusive team environment, providing coaching, feedback, and development to support associate growth and engagement
Drive team effectiveness by proactively identifying capability needs, addressing bottlenecks, and partnering with HR and Talent Acquisition on recruiting and succession planning

New York Base Salary Range: $213,795-$342,072
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
