About the Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated Associate to join our Accounting Operations team in Singapore to help support the Investment Accounting Systems team. The Accounting Systems team assists in managing and prioritizing the features and enhancements produced by development teams to ensure it meets business and client needs and continually searches for ways to improve accuracy, timeliness, and efficiencies of data and data delivery.
This role is responsible for assisting in the effort to manage and enhance the reporting capabilities of systems while ensuring quality data controls are in place.
The primary function of the Fund Operations Associate is to support accounting team members with various aspects of Accounting Operations and other investment and fund related analysis.

Has proven ability in bringing high quality administrative, technology and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Possesses a strong work ethic and can work independently and as part of a team
Is self-motivated and able to multi-task, working with multiple team members across different teams and time zones
Demonstrates a proven ability to provide timely and accurate work
Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
Is passionate about data and technology and eager to implement improvements
High proficiency in digital literacy with a willingness to learn new systems and applications
What you will do:
Perform task aligned to Accounting Operations, adhering to established timelines and following standardized queries, workflows and templates
Develop expertise in the assigned functional area, understanding both the depth (knowledge of process) and breadth (knowledge of fund-specific characteristics) and how they impact the process
Contribute to the business ownership of technology and data critical to the Accounting Operations team through defining business value and driving continuous product improvement
Assist in maintaining a backlog of enhancements and defects to ensure a sustainable, high level of accuracy and efficiency
Identify methods to improve current processes, reporting and quality standards
Prepare ad hoc requests and support Accounting Operations projects related to continuous improvement
What you bring:
Experience in accounting operations, ideally in private markets
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and experience with data reconciliation
Ability to perform processes across a diverse set of funds, applying knowledge learned in one fund to similar funds within the complex
Capability to multitask and manage priorities against key deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, BI tools, Dashboards and Power Apps
Experience with Efront and Great Plains accounting software a plus
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree – Finance, Economics or Accounting or a related field required
Work Experience
2-3+ years of finance/accounting systems experience with accounting operations experience in private equity a plus
