The Opportunity

As the Fund Analyst for MDAP and DITA, you will assist with the preparation and implementation of the Fund’s Investment Strategy, developing an understanding of the Fund Model, the dynamics of Fund returns and primary influences on those returns. Developing an understanding of the Fund’s portfolio and its’ key characteristics, drivers, risks and opportunities, your ability to build strong and respected relationships will enable you to assist and support the Fund Manager in delivering results. This role offers exposure to capital partners, institutional‑grade fund management and large‑scale transactions.

You will make an impact by:

  • Assisting the Fund Manager in the preparation of the Fund's Investment Strategy

  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders including asset managers, development managers, leasing, and finance to manage risks, opportunities and to deliver portfolio returns

  • Analysing strategic and financial impact of acquisitions, divestments, capital projects and major lease transactions

  • Coordinating the due diligence process for Fund acquisitions and divestments

  • Owning and maintaining the Fund Model and reporting suite, providing clear, insightful analysis on portfolio performance, key drivers, and risks/opportunities to support decision‑making.

  • Supporting the Fund Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including an annual Investment Plan

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, or Commerce; further studies or professional courses in a related discipline are advantageous.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience, preferably in property or finance industries; strong financial modelling and analysis skills; familiarity with unlisted funds, finance and capital structures, balance sheet, and profit/loss reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills, DCF and other valuation methodologies, investment return calculations and portfolio/fund modelling, willingness to learn and develop new skill sets

  • A genuine drive, curiosity, hunger for learning, positive attitude and team spirit

  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, work without supervision and assume full responsibility for completion of tasks
