Job DescriptionThe Fund Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all investment decisions vis-à-vis settlement of trades on the Funds are carried out whilst ensuring that proper controls have been put in place.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare settlement instructions based on investment decisions to the Custodians and ensure completeness.
Upload the price list gotten into the system.
Posting and execution of other trades and investments transactions across funds under management.
Daily reports and cash reconciliation, assets reconciliation, payments and transfers out of funds and monthly reconciliation of the fund’s portfolio to the Custodians position.
Type of Qualification: University Degree
Field of Study: Finance and Accounting, and ACCA or ICAN or CIMA certification
Experience Required
3-4 year's experience in Finance with product knowledge, effective communication, advanced Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word.
