Job DescriptionJob Description – QA Tester Position:
1. QA Tester Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications.
2. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, a keen eye for defects, and the ability to collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
1.Test Planning & Design
2.Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
3. Design, develop, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
4. Test Execution- Execute manual and/or automated tests to ensure the quality of the product. Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
5.Defect Management-.Report and escalate issues, risks, or defects clearly and effectively to the development team.
6. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
7.Collaboration -Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand scope and acceptance criteria.
10.Participate in sprint ceremonies and release planning in Agile/Scrum environments,Continuous Improvement
11.Suggest improvements to testing processes and automation frameworks.
12.Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and strategies.
