Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Order to Cash (OTC) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic IT team within a leading manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP OTC processes, business process reengineering (BPR), and business relationship management (BRM). Additionally, experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) from an IT perspective is highly desired. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end OTC processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and business functions, especially in the context of M&A activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Order to Cash Process Implementation:
- Design, configure, and deploy SAP OTC / STC ( Customer service) solutions tailored to the manufacturing industry.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP OTC & STC with other modules like MM, FI, and PP.
- Business Process Reengineering (BPR):
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to streamline OTC operations.
- Lead BPR initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance the overall efficiency of the order-to-cash cycle.
- Ensure alignment of business processes with SAP best practices.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) IT Integration:
- Participate in M&A activities by assessing the impact on OTC and STC processes and identifying integration requirements.
- Support the integration of newly acquired entities into existing SAP systems, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Develop and execute integration plans, including data migration, process harmonization, and system consolidation.
- Business Relationship Management (BRM):
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align IT solutions accordingly.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project status and deliverables.
- System Integration and Support:
- Ensure seamless integration of OTC processes with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP OTC-related issues.
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Documentation and Training:
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff on SAP OTC processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant specializing in Order to Cash (OTC) processes, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules, particularly SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and FI (Financial Accounting).
- Proven experience in business process reengineering (BPR) and business relationship management (BRM).
- Hands-on experience with IT aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including system integration, data migration, and process harmonization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- SAP certification in OTC or SD module is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP ECC.60 and Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and IDoc processing.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
