JOB PURPOSE:
SAP Centers of Excellence provide application expertise to support the effective daily operations and improvement of different business or IT functions. The SAP Center of Excellence (COE) will also focus on McCain S4 transformation journey for SAP ECC systems and solutions in place at an organization level. Make-To Deploy (MTD) functional Engineer will be part of overall SAP COE in GDTC India centre and will report to global Manufacturing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with business team members of business to facilitate effective solution implementations and provide knowledge transfer and training of system functionality to Super Users, Subject Matter Experts and end users.
  • Translate local business requirements into related configuration requirements and perform system set-ups in SAP to meet customer requirements.
  • Identify any Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows and/or any other development objects necessary to bridge requirements with SAP functionality through the creation of Functional Specification documentation. Interface effectively with developers to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs.
  • Work closely with ABAP developers to define programming requirements and test programming solutions.
  • Manage projects assigned through the full project lifecycle including managing and coordinating the work of consultants when necessary.
  • Build and execute unit testing, integration, and regression testing (build test cases, perform tests, and make changes to configuration or processes based on results).
  • Candidate will have an opportunity to contribute with brown field implementation of S/4 HANA Make -To-Deploy module for enabling MTD processes.
  • Functional and technical expertise of SAP PP and QM module. SAP PM and or WM will be added advantages.


KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

  • 7- 8+ years of experience in the SAP Make To Deploy module under various releases of SAP.
  • We require the candidate to have good Experience in SAP PP and QM module in the following areas:-


    • Master Data Management as it relates to Material Management in SAP, Bill of Material/Master Recipe/Routings/Production versions etc.
    • Process design for Material master creation, BOM, Resource, Master Recipe, ECN, MRP (consumption-based planning, reorder point) etc.
    • Experience in Baseline Configuration for Process Order Mgmt and Quality Inspections settings for Material creation, Product Hierarchy and configure settings and validate baseline.
    • Able to independently implement S/4 Hana PP/QM module, proficient in standard business process, system operation and background configuration.
    • Candidate should be capable of debugging SAP programs to help find the root cause and resolution to various issues.
  • Should have Strong experience Integration with other SAP Modules like MM, FI, CO, SNP, DP PPDS, PS etc.
  • Candidate should have experience with one or more full project life cycle SAP S4 implementations.
  • Experience in Blueprinting, Realization, Configuration, Functional Specifications, Unit and Integration Testing and Execution, Data Definition, Data Mapping from Legacy Systems, End-user Training, Training Development, Train the Trainer, Cutover Activities, and Production Support
  • Strong skill sets in communicating, training, and supporting quality function with day-to-day business processes.
  • Candidate should have experience to Production Support/Roll-out projects and should be good at working with geographically spread team.
  • Candidate with S4Hana Certificate is Preferable.
  • Good at communication, strong sense of service and responsibility, good teamwork spirit
