Job Description
3 to 5 years of experience in functional testing, software quality assurance, or related field.
Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Design, develop, and execute detailed functional test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver comprehensive test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure software behaves as expected.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, business analysts) to clarify requirements and resolve functional ambiguities.
Participate in sprint planning, standups, and other agile ceremonies.
Experience with functional testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Quality Center.
Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate issues and report test results effectively.
Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and testing in continuous integration environments.
Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or Postman for API testing is a plus.
Certification in testing, such as ISTQB is a plus.
